   Background: Since her early days, Tanya had trained to be a knight for the forces of Emperia alongside her brother, Liam. Many years of hard work ultimately yielded their rewards, for Tanya was eventually promoted to captain of the Emperian royal guard, as well as the personal bodyguard to Lord Brezen Gaias. Liam, meanwhile, became a high-ranking officer stationed in Ferost. Things were well for a time, until Tanya received word that her brother was killed during a mysterious incident that would later come to be known as the "Great Darkwood Fire". She has since held a grudge against the assailant behind the Darkwood fire, the one the reports referred to as "Enba".

 

  Speech Style: Tanya is at default quite formal with both her speech style and the way she carries herself. (She more or less has to be, since Brezen certainly isn't.) She does have a more vulnerable side, however, as her brother's death continues to weigh upon Tanya's mind...

 

  Mental/Emotional: Tanya has always been fairly mature for her age, but after Liam's death, she quickly became more distant and reserved. Tanya also believes in professionalism, and as such, performs her duties with the utmost efficiency possible. All of this combined has lead Brezen, as well as many others, to see her as uptight. This, in turn, has caused a bit of a disconnect between Tanya and the troops she commands, with the only one understanding the full extent of her internal affairs being Brezen Gaias himself.
