   Background: Mika is the leader of the Western Svetan settlement of SilverIce, a member of the Exalted Council, as well as Kyra's mother. She was appointed as "Lady" to the western settlement after watching the previous Lord succumb to a mysterious ailment - one that Mika herself has grown deathly afraid of succumbing to herself since.

 

  Speech Style: Mika's voice is very smooth and pleasant, virtually the embodiment of warmth and comfort. This demeanor hides an inner fear, however...

 

  Mental/Emotional: Ever since her youth, Mika has always possessed a sort of "pleasant air" - soft spoken and kind, motherly almost. Despite this almost delicate demeanor, Mika has proven both her emotional and mental strength to her peers, due to her uncanny business sense. Mika is also a natural caregiver, and believes that all life has value (at least in one way or another); and while this does not stop her from taking action as necessary, the situation must be fairly dire. She also possesses a great deal of natural trust, as well as an innate ability to determine the nature and the value thereof in others. However, her mind is haunted by the thought of herself, (or worse yet, Kyra) dying to the very illness that claimed the previous Lord of Silverice, and has done everything in her power to make preparations accordingly.
