   Background: Aquius is the spirit of a great hero long corrupted by the powers of the Devil Mask, and was sealed away by Fiona Lumin some 700 years ago. His rage and insanity have survived long past his mortal body, with both growing with each passing day of his imprisonment.

 

  Speech Style: Under normal circumstances, Aquius speaks with a "calm insanity", just barely keeping himself under control. When presented with the object of his hatred, however, (a Lumin) all resemblance of control falls away and reveals the full force of just how mentally broken Aquius is. In both personas, Aquius voice tone could be considered "whipsy", "aloof", or "unhinged", if you will. The voice itself almost sounds "hollow", as Aquius himself is basically just that, being a fallen hero.

 

  Mental/Emotional: Aquius, while under the Devil Mask's influence, takes absolute pleasure in tearing his enemies apart, literally using the weapons under his command to pummel, cleave, and even eviscerate. His "calm" persona attempts to hide this murderous nature, typically moving fairly slowly until the moment he strikes, where Aquius will move with lightning speed. With a Lumin in the vicinity (or if angered), Aquius uses the "no holds barred" method, utilizing every ounce of overwhelming skill and power in his possession until all that remains of his opponent is a stain.
